Amsterdam Tram Cart
By HNH Concept FactoryDid you know that our capital was once called Amstertram? Oke we’re not completely sure about that one either. But fact remains that the city has been known for its intricate tram system since it was implemented in 1875. First moving on actual horsepower, but in 1900 the carts were connected to a power grid. Nowadays the carts have evolved into a sterile blue-and-white robot, but at Hotel Not Hotel you can relive those golden times in Cart 965. Restored, transformed, and better looking than ever. Its king-size bed, wooden floor, and the old school light bulbs create a unique atmosphere. There’s a small seating area inside as well as in front to relax, and check out the scenery. Tram 965 makes stops at Bar Kevin Bacon around breakfast time, and at the communal bathroom all day long.
The tram is located in the vibrant heart of the hotel. But of course, we don’t want to disturb your good night’s sleep. That’s why we ask hotel guests to move from the lobby to the restaurant after 22.00, and there are curtains in the room to give you some privacy.
√ Included in your room: dance pole, windows (view of hotel interior), adjustable ventilation, wall fan, power sockets, towels and storage under the seat.

About the designer
This room was created by the infamous HNH Concept Factory—a group of philosophers, scientists, and visual artists. As you wander through the hallways of the hotel, be careful—you might just bump into one of them. They’re known to be a bit eccentric, much like their creations.
